Many of you will have been dismayed by the resurfacing work completed in Emmbrook Road under the railway bridge. The ERA has been pressing the matter with WBC via our local councillors. We are pleased to say that WBC officers have now acknowledged the defects and have advised the following:
“Emmbrook Road has been inspected and defects have been observed. The contractor has been requested to carry out remedial patching works to those areas and those areas will then have another dressing applied. It is anticipated that these remedial works will be carried out during the remainder of this summer’s surface dressing season (subject to suitable weather conditions).”
We will of course keep a close eye on how these remedial works progress and their suitability.
