WBC have issued a traffic regulation order (for consultation) to extend the existing 20mph speed restriction which currently operates in Emmbrook along Emmbrook Road and part of Matthewsgreen.
The consultation runs until 30 Jan 2020.

There’s little point in extending the 20 mph zone if it’s not going to be enforced. I’d be interested to know how many drivers have been penalised since the current 20 mph zone was introduced. It’s probably equal to the number of HGV drivers who’ve been penalised for breaching the weight limit on Commons Road, which I guess is none – but I’m happy to be corrected..
