Many of our residents will remember the somewhat inconsistent grass cutting we experienced last year. The ERA has been liaising with WBC, with the help of our local councillors, to get some assurances that this year will be better. Thanks to our councillors for this assistance.
We are pleased to report that WBC have, in recognition of the problems last year, recruited additional staff to monitor performance of Tivoli, the maintenance contractor, and implemented an improvement plan agreed with Tivoli senior management.
WBC have assured us that performance will be monitored closely, both proactively and reactively and that any concerns residents raise will be fed into that process; so please do highlight any issues you notice and we will ensure these are brought to WBC’s attention.
You may have noticed that the first grass cutting has started in Emmbrook, so here’s hoping we have a much improved season this year.
