At the 2025 AGM it was decided to introduce a suspension of ERA fees for the coming year. The following communication was issued to existing members and also for the benefit of future members:
Dear Fellow Resident,
At the ERA Annual General Meeting held on Thursday, 15th May 2025, a vote was taken and approved to suspend the annual membership fee for the upcoming year (2025/26).
The decision was made in the hope that removing this fee would encourage more residents to join our association. After a year, we will review whether this approach has been effective. While we anticipate only a small impact on our funds, we plan to replenish them if needed through fundraising activities, such as our Fish and Chip Supper Quiz Night on October 18th. An email with further details will be sent to all members closer to the event.
New residents who wish to join ERA can simply provide their details to us—including name, address, and email—and we will acknowledge their membership and add them to our mailing list. Existing members will automatically remain on the list.
If any members choose to continue making their annual payment, we would be most grateful, as these contributions will be added to our funds.
